Hi, I'm Sean Gallagher. I'm a working unit stills photographer whose recent clients include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Daily Show, CBS Sports and the Tennis Channel.
I'm equally happy and at home providing stills for guests (celebrities, politicians, authors, musicians), documenting what life is like behind and between the scenes during production or setting up my own lights on the side for key art.
In the current media climate, more is more. It's always been my view that the show behind the show is just as interesting as what winds up being broadcast or streamed, and followers, fans, media organizations as well as social media for the productions themselves are hungry for views of every aspect of the process.
My work has been featured in: NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, NY Post, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, GQ, People Magazine, Variety, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Sunday Today with Willie Geist, CBS Sunday Morning, on billboard campaigns in L.A. and subway/bus advertising in NYC, at the Paley Center for Media (formerly Museum of TV and Radio), at the Emmy awards ceremony, on the front of TDS Headquarters as well as other publications and uses too numerous to count. My images have generated millions upon millions of impressions and likes on social.
I also strive to not be stuck in one niche, so to that end I've completed a book detailing the history of my family as scenic carpenters along with their tool collections. been working as a portrait and editiorial photographer for decades, and I sell fine art prints. I also love to kayak, hike and bike...generally while carrying an infrared camera.
